During recent years, four Isconova-owned patent applications have been submitted, which has enabled new possibilities in several application areas, including human health.

Two new patent families cover Matrix M, which is matrix formulation based on a state-of-the-art Immune-Stimulating-Complex technology with attributes highly suitable for human vaccine development. This matrix maintains a very strong and efficient adjuvant function, at the same time as it displays a highly significant improvement in safety compared to earlier generations of Isconova’s matrix:s.

Matrix-M formulation increases the performance safety window by an order of magnitude, a result that has been verified in several species. Our Matrix M formulation is thus a cornerstone in today’s research in human vaccine development. We therefore invite vaccine-developing research institutions and companies to join us in collaboration projects to develop and bring to market safe, efficient and well-proven human vaccines in the near future.
